Timbers are a high energy Americana band anchored in a focus on song craft, rowdy performances and a taste for the absurd! Their goal is to create music that tells a story and helps people feel something. Though they began, in 2013, as a bar band ready for a good time, 10 years later, Timbers have grown into a solid opening and headlining act all across Kansas City and the midwest. Emerging from the middle of the U.S. at the cross hairs of I-35 and I-70 their sound is awash in a mix of country, gospel, soul, blues, rock ‘n roll, indie and punk rock. Affectionately, Timbers call this mutt of a pedigree, The Kansas City Sound.

Long Bio:
Timbers (Aaron Mitchum - lead vocal and guitars, Devon Teran - guitars and pedal steel, Jillian DeJoung - vocals, Riley Taylor - bass and vocals, Nate Lewis - drums and percussion) began in 2013. Fueled by a desire to create music that tells a story and helps people feel something Timbers began as a bar band ready for a good time but have now grown into solid opening and headlining act all across Kansas City and the midwest. Emerging from the cross hairs of I-35 and I-70 awash in a mix of country, soul, blues, rock ‘n roll and indie rock Timbers are the Kansas City sound. They are known for their energetic live shows anchored by three part harmonies and a chemistry that only comes from playing together for years.
